The Decision of the Executive Committee of the Mogilev City Council of People’s Deputies of February 8, 1984 No. 31-9 “On changing the functional purpose of Leninskaya Street in Mogilev” was adopted

The Executive Committee of the Mogilev City Council of People’s Deputies supported the project proposals of the Mogilevgrazhdanproekt Institute, and decided to declare Leninskaya Street in Mogilev a pedestrian street. Thus, Mogilev was one of the first in the Byelorussian SSR to have its own Arbat.

In 2025, a large-scale reconstruction of the street began, at the moment its appearance has been updated from Glory Square to Boldin Street.
