On the construction of an agricultural engineering
plant of the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering in Vitebsk
In accordance with Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR
dated June 22, 1954 No. 112, the Council of Ministers of the Byelorussian SSR
DECIDED:
1. Oblige the executive committee of the Vitebsk City Council of
Workers' Deputies (comrade Sabelnikov) to allocate land plots within 10 days
for the construction of an agricultural engineering plant of the Ministry of
Mechanical Engineering with an area of up to 50 hectares and for the
construction of residential and cultural facilities of this plant.
2. To oblige the Ministry of Housing and Civil Construction of the BSSR
(Comrade Kamensky) to carry out construction and installation work in the
amount of 10 million rubles in 1954 on the construction of an agricultural
engineering plant in Vitebsk in addition to the plan of contract work performed
for the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering.
3. Take note that the Council of Ministers of the USSR, by resolution of
June 22, 1954 No. 112:
a) obliged the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering to transfer to the Council
of Ministers of the BSSR funds for materials, number and wages of workers for
the volume of construction and installation work carried out on the
construction of an agricultural engineering plant in Vitebsk.
Granted, as an exception, the right to use metal trusses for multi-span,
one-story industrial buildings during the construction of the specified plant;
b) obligated the Ministry of Finance of the USSR to finance, as an
exception, before the approval of the design assignment preparatory work and construction of temporary
structures of the agricultural engineering plant in Vitebsk according to separate financial estimates, and the
construction of residential facilities of this plant according to projects and
estimates for individual facilities approved by the Ministry of Mechanical
Engineering;
c) granted the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering the right to spend 12
million rubles on the construction of temporary structures, housing for
construction workers and preparatory work for the construction of an
agricultural engineering plant in Vitebsk within the limits of capital
investment allocations allocated to the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering for
1954;
d) obliged the Ministry of Railways to carry out survey and design work
for the Ministry of Mechanical Engineering in 1954 for the construction of a
railway line from the Zabolotinka station of the Kalinin Railway to the
construction site of an agricultural engineering plant.
